Does doing surveys really help me earn money?

Hey everyone, I'm curious if doing online surveys can really help me earn money. I saw many ads that offer income in exchange for filling out surveys .
Has anyone had success with this? How much time and effort does it take to see any meaningful income? Are the sites reliable, or is it just a waste of time?

I’ve tried a few online survey sites, and while some can offer small amounts of money, they’re not really going to replace a fulltime income. So i'd say it's a waste

Right? It is not easy to earn money from that. but if you just do it in your free time, i think it would be ok cause it gives you extra income.
